HEMŞİRELERİN ENTERAL BESLENME İŞLEMİNE YÖNELİK UYGULAMA VE KAYITLARININ İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışma, hemşirelerin enteral beslenen hastalara yönelik uygulama ve kayıtlarının incelenmesi
amacıyla yapılmış tanımlayıcı bir çalışmadır. Bir üniversite hastanesinin beyin cerrahi, nöroloji ve dahiliye
kliniklerinde 26 hemşire (%86.6) ile yürütülmüştür. Veriler literatüre dayalı olarak geliştirilen “Gözlem Formu”
ile hemşireler iki gün gözlenerek toplanmıştır.
Gözlemlerin tümünde hemşirelerin; beslenme setini günlük olarak değiştirdikleri, düzenli olarak
beslenme tüpününün yerini ve rezidüel miktarı kontrol ettikleri ve beslenme tüpünden ilaç verdikleri
belirlenmiştir. Ancak, yapılan gözlemlerin %15.5’inde hemşirelerin beslenme tüpünü güvenli bir şekilde
sabitlemedikleri, %20.2’sinde rezidüel volüm ölçülen enjektörün üzerine günlük tarihi yazmadıkları, %15.5’inde
enjektörü yıkamadıkları belirlenmiştir. Gözlemlerin %9.5’inde hemşirelerin beslenme tüpü takılış tarihini,
%23’ünde beslenme seti değişim tarihini, %63.5’inde beslenme tüpünün dışarıda kalan uzunluğunu ve tümünde
beslenme tüp numarasını kayıt etmedikleri belirlenmiştir.
Kliniklerde, hemşirelerin kullanıma yönelik enteral beslenme bakım rehberinin oluşturulması
önerilmiştir
