Abstract

İnsan yaşamının büyük bir bölümünü oluşturan aile ve iş yaşamı arasında çoğu kez çatışmayla karşılaşılmaktadır. Yaşam alanları arasındaki çatışma iş-aile çatışması biçiminde olabildiği gibi aile-iş çatışması biçiminde de görülebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, bir ihtisas hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerin iş-aile çatışması ve aile-iş çatışmasının iş tatmini, kariyer tatmini ve iş davranışları üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca, araştırmada, iş-aile çatışması ile iş-aile kolaylaştırması ve aile-iş çatışması ile aile-iş kolaylaştırması arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Araştırmada, her iki tür çatışma arasında aynı yönlü, çatışma ile kolaylaştırma arasında ise ters yönlü bir ilişki belirlenmiştir. İş-aile çatışması ile iş tatmini arasında negatif yönlü ilişki bulunmuş olmasına karşılık, kariyer tatmini ile ilişki bulunmamıştır.
