ÇEVREYE UYARLANMIŞ KUZNETS EĞRİSİ: TÜRKİYE ÜZERİNE BİR UYGULAMA

Abstract

Bu çalışma 1950-2000 dönemi için Çevreye Uyarlanmış Kuznets
Eğrisi Hipotezi’nin Türkiye için geçerliliğini araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır.
Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre, Çevreye Uyarlanmış Kuznets Eğrisi’nin
Türkiye için geçerli olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Gelir ile katı yakıtların ve
fueloil kullanımından dolayı ortaya çıkan CO2 miktarı arasında anlamlı herhangi
bir ilişki elde edilememiştir. Buna karşılık gelir düzeyi ile kişi başına
karbondioksit emisyonu ile fosil yakıtların kullanımından dolayı ortaya çıkan
emisyon değerleri arasında ters N biçimli bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
