Abstract

Kültürel değerler ve iş tatmini arasındaki ilişki üzerinde
güçlendirmenin aracılık (dolaylı) etkisini inceleyen bu çalışma, banka ve üretim
çalışanlarının iki örneklemi üzerinde yürütülmüştür. “Güçlendirme algılarının,
kültürel değerler ve iş tatmini arasındaki ilişkilerde aracılık etkileri (rolleri)
vardır” şeklinde geliştirilen çalışma hipotezi, banka örnekleminde yeterli destek
bulamazken, üretim örnekleminde ise tam destek bulmuştur. Bu bulgular,
güçlendirme yönetim tarzının ulusal kültürle uyum göstermediğini, olduğu gibi
değil, farklı anlayışlar ile ancak uygulanabileceğini ve de etki ve otonomi
güçlendirme boyutlarına ağırlık verilmesinin yerinde olacağını göstermektedir.
Buna karşılık, çalışma bulguları, güçlendirme algısı düşük yönetim tarzı ile
kültürel değerler arasında var olan uyum için ampirik kanıt sağlamaktadır.
