Abstract
Bu çalışmada, artan belirsizliğin rekabetçi olmayan işgücü
piyasasında kayıt dışı istihdamı ve işsizliği nasıl etkilediği araştırılmıştır. Bu
ilişki Türkiye’de 1989-2006 yılları için EKK yöntemi ile tahmin edilmiştir. Kur
riskini modellemek için bu çalışmada ARCH ve kukla değişken yöntemi
kullanılmıştır. Test sonucunda, kur riskindeki artışla işsizlik arasında anlamlı
bir ilişkinin olduğu görülmüştür. Daha da önemlisi Türkiye açısından kur
riskinin zirveye ulaşarak krize dönüştüğü yıllarda kukla değişkenin de
gösterdiği gibi 1 milyondan fazla kişi kayıt dışı çalışma alanlarına
yönelmektedir.
