Religiosity Problem: A Psychological AnalysisThis article aim to find a Quran-based response to religiosity problem which is an important issue of the psychology of religion. On the contrary of western thought which try to explain people’s religious orientation basing on some needs,this article approaches to religiosity as a generation process and describes religiosity as a humanization project, so it approaches to obstacles of religiosity/humanization project according to the perspective of the Quran to people and humanity. This study mentions to reply to question of “Why are not people religious?” rather than “Why are people religious?”

Bu makale, din psikolojisinin önemli bir konusu olan dindarlık sorununa
Kur’an merkezli bir cevap bulmayı amaçlamaktadır. İnsanların dine yönelimlerini
birtakım ihtiyaçları esas alarak açıklamaya çalışan Batılı düşüncenin aksine,
dindarlığın “oluş süreci” olarak ele alındığı bu makale, dindarlığın ve dolayısıyla
“İnsanlaşma Projesi”nin önündeki engelleri, Kur’an’ın insana ve insanlığa bakışı
üzerinden ele almaktadır. Makale, “İnsanlar neden dindardır?” sorusundan çok
“İnsanlar neden dindar değildir?” sorusuna cevap vermeyi konu edinmektedir.
