Abstract

ÖZET
Bu çalışma renk içeren anlatım ve deyimlerden yola çıkarak renklerin
anlamlarını ortaya çıkarmayı amaçlamaktadır. Renk içeren anlatım ve deyimler,
renklere düz anlamlarının dışında farklı yan anlamlar yüklemektedir. Her rengin
olumlu, olumsuz ve betimsel veya genel olarak adlandırılan üç bağlamda anlamları
bulunmaktadır. -ımsı ve -ımtırak son ekini alan renk anlatımları genellikle olumsuz
anlamlar içermektedir. Siyah ve sarı anlatım ve deyimlerde hiçbir olumlu yan
anlama gönderme yapmamaktadır. Diğer renklerle oluşan anlatım ve deyimler her
üç bağlama uygun anlam özelliklerini bünyesinde bulundurmakladır. Göndergesel
renklerle oluşmuş anlatım ve deyim bulunmadığı için bu renkler yazınsal metinlerde
ve kullanıldıkları bağlamlara göre yan anlamlar kazanmaktadır.

ABSTRACT
This work aims to reveal the meanings of the colors beginning with the
expressions and idioms with regard to colors. The expressions and idioms regarding
color impose meanings on the colors, as well as the colors themselves, Every color
has three categories; positive or negative, descriptive and general meaning. Those
which have the "-ish" suffix are generally negative colors. Black and yellow do not
have a positive meaning in expressions and idioms. The other colors in expressions
and idioms have the three characteristics above
As there is no expression or idiom containing referential colors, these
colors address the reader only in the written text and give the reader diverse
connotations.
