Abstract
Foreign language learning, despite its importance is known for centuries, has not yet achieved to the desired level. Unsuccess of foreign language teaching depend on the such raisons: lack of foreign language practice, incompetence of the teachers in the learning process or their thinking foreign language as a formality lesson, reluctant students' behaviors and attitudes for notes, and being limited of preference foreign language to only a few language. Time of learning a foreign language and wrong preferences are also other negatives factors. As a result of the national debates, foreign language learning should take place as planned and scheduled in the curriculum and should focus on seriously on the teaching process by determining the time of learning the language very well

Abstract
Yabancı dil asırlardır öneminin bilinmesine rağmen henüz istenilen düzeyde
öğrenilmesi sağlanamamıştır. Yabancı dil politikalarının yanlış olması, öğrenme
sürecinde eğitimcilerin yetersizlikleri veya yabancı dili formalite bir ders
niteliğinde düşünülerek isteksiz öğrencilerle birlikte nota yönelik davranış ve
tutumlar sergilemeleri ve yabancı dil seçiminin sadece birkaç dil ile sınırlı olması
gibi nedenlerle yabancı öğretimi gerçekleşememe ve ülke menfaatleri
doğrultusunda istenilen hedeflere ulaşılamamaktadır. Ayrıca yabancı dil öğrenme
zamanı ve tercihlerin yerinde olmaması da diğer olumsuz engelleyici faktörlerdir.
Yabancı dilin öğrenme zamanının çok iyi tespit edilerek, ulusal tartışmalar
sonucunda planlı ve programlı olarak müfredatta yerini almalı ve öğretim
sürecinde ciddiyetle üzerinde durulmalıdır.
