Abstract

ÖZET
Birinci dünya savaşı galiplerinin Türkiye'yi bölme ve
parçalama teşebbüsleri bölgesel tepkileri do~urmuştur. Trabzon ve
havalisinde de yeniden gündeme gelen Pontus~Rum devleti
kurulması fikirlerinin gelişmesi ve çetecilik hareketlerinin bu
bölge insanına zulüm' etmeye başlamasıyla bölgede müdafaa·i
hukuk cemiyetleri kurularak yöre insanının şuurlandırılmasına
çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmayı destekleyen yayın organlarından birisi
de İstikba.ı gazetesidir..
İstikbal gazetesinin Anadolu basınındaki önemi Milli
Mücadele esnasındaki etkili yaxın!ar~yla görülmektedir.
Türk milletinin elinde kalan son toprak parçasını da kaybetme
tehlikesiyle karşı karşıya kaldı~ı o buhranlı günlerde bu toprakları
vatan yapmada katkısı olan her hareketi minnetle anmak bizler
için bir kadirşinaslık olmalıdır.

ABSTRACT
The attempts of the dividing and breaking into pieces of
Turkey by the fırst World War winners cıluse iocal reaction.
In and around Trabzon the idea of establishing the PontusGreak
State and the gang movements oppressing the people !iye
there started the idea of establishing the Defense and Law
societies so as to inform the people.
One of the media which supports this idea (especially
addressing the people who Iive in and around Trabzon ) is the
istikha i newsrafler
We can observe the importance of the istikbal newspaper
during the National Struggle with it publishing.
In those bad days Turkey was in trouble to !ose its lands and
we should appreciate aıı kind of patriotic movements which
supports making the land motherland.
