Maternal Tolerans

Abstract

Gebelik, babaya ait antijenler taşıyan embriyonik hücrelere karşı annenin bağışıklık
sisteminin bölgesel toleransı ile karakterize fizyolojik bir durumdur. Genetik materyalinin yarısı
babadan gelmesine karşın, memeliler embriyolarını uterus içerisinde taşırlar. Embriyonun uterusta
yaşaması ve gelişimini sürdürebilmesi için belli bazı immunolojik mekanizmalar söz konudur.
Sunulan derlemede, maternal tolerans olarak ta bilinen annenin bağışıklık sisteminin yarı yarıya
kendinden olan embriyoya nasıl "tahammül" ettiği kısaca tartışılmıştır
