Abstract

ÖZET
"Bu araştırma Kars çayır toprakları ile Sarıkamış orman topraklarının dispersiyon nispetleri, dolayısiyle erozyona mukavemet derecelerinin araştırılması gayesiyle yapılmıştır. Nümunelerin dispersiyon nispetlerine ait rakamlar "15" sınır değerinin üzerinde bulunmuş ve Sôz konusu toprakların erozyona müsait karakterde oldukları tespit edilmiştir"

SUMMARY

1. This investigation has been done
to determine erodibility of the
pasture soils in Kars and forest soils
in Sarıkamış, based on their dispersion
ratios. Such an investigation is
alsa important .in terms of making a
eonservation farm plan in the. fu ture,
beeause a knowledge of erosian characteristics
of the soil is necessary for this
above-mentioned planning.
2. The investigation area involves
the pasture soils in Kars and the
.forest soils in Sarıkamış.
3. The mechanical analyses have
shown that the soils of the pasture and
forest areas are usııaIly heavy in
texture,
4. Less than 50 micron of waterStable
aggregates has been found
between 16.9 -20.2 /;; for the pasture
soils and between 12. ı - 30.4 /;; for
the forest soİls.
5. Less than 50 micron of the particles,
according to the mechanical
analyses is between 80.7-85.1 /;; in the
pasture soils and between 67,5-82,9
/;; in the forest soils.
6. it has been foıınd that the
dispersion ratios of the soils investigated
are more than figure "15".
This shows that the soils are susceptible
to erosion.
