Beyazsineklerin (Homoptera: Aleyrodidae) Mücadelesinde Entomopatojen Fungusların Kullanım İmkanları

Abstract

Bakteriler, virüsler, protozoalar, riketsialar, nematodlar ve funguslardan bazı türler böceklerde patojendirler. Bunlar
konukçularını zayıflamalarına veya ölümlerine sebep olan organizmalardır. Entomopatojen funguslar, beyazsinekleri beslenme
mekanizmaları sebebiyle sadece integumentlerinden penetrasyon yapabilme yeteneğine ve beyazsineklerin mikrobiyal
mücadelesinde kullanılma potansiyeline sahip mikroorganizmalardır. Beyazsineklerin en yaygın olarak görülen fungal patojenleri;
Lecanicillium lecanii (Zimm.) Zare & W. Gams, Aschersonia aleyrodis Webber, Paecilomyces fumosoroseus (Wize) Brown and
Smith ve Beauveria bassiana (Balsamo) Vuillemin’dır. Günümüzde bunlardan, L. lecanii, B. bassiana ve P. fumosoroseus’un
ticari preparatları beyazsineklerin mücadelesinde kullanılmaktadırlar.
