The Effect Of Planting Times On The Growth and Yield Of Cucumber Grown In a High Tunnel In Erzurum Conditions
Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine the effect of planting times on the growth and yield of cucumber in a high tunnel. According to the results, there was no significant effect of planting times on the fruit weight of cucumber in a high tunnel. On the other hand, number of fruit per plant and yield varied with planting times. High tunnels should be used from may onwards in cucumber to start growing early and have a high yield.

Farklı Dikim Zamanlarının, Erzurum Koşullarında Yüksek Tünelde Yetiştirilen Hıyarda, Gelişme ve Verim Üzerine Etkisi
Abstract
Bu araştırmanın konusu, yüksek tünel altında farklı dikim zamanlarının hıyarda bazı gelişme özellikleri ile verime etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırmada 15 Nisan, 1 Mayıs ve 15 Mayıs olmak üzere 3 farklı dikim zamanı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda, hıyarda dikim zamanlarının meyve ağırlığına etkisinin önemli olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, verim ve bitki başına meyve sayısının dikim zamanına göre değiştiği belirlenmiştir. Bu araştırma, sonuçlarına göre, yörede erken dönemde yetiştiriciliğe başlamak ve daha yüksek verim elde etmek amacıyla, mayıs ayından itibaren yüksek plastik tünel kullanılarak yetiştiriciliğe başlanması önerilir.
