Abstract

ÖZET: Bu çalışma, Doğu ekotipinden elde edilen ve polikros testi sonucunda üstün olduğu belirlenen 20 ana bitkinin projeni performansını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Şansa bağlı tam bloklar deneme desenine göre üç tekerrürlü olarak kurulan denemeye, kontrol olarak Kayseri ve Bilensoy-80 çeşitleri dahil edilmiştir. Üç yıllık ortalama sonuçlara göre, hat/çeşitler birinci biçim yaş ot verimi, üçüncü biçim yaş ve kuru ot veriminde % 1, birinci biçim kuru ot veriminde % 5 ihtimal seviyesinde önemli bulunmuştur. Ancak ikinci biçim yaş ve kuru ot verimlerinde ise farklılıklar önemsizdir. En yüksek toplam yaş ve kuru ot verimleri 34, 15 ve 8 nolu hatlarda (sırasıyla 4471.1-1217.1, 4226.5-1140.1 ve 4123.3-1112.3 kg/da) belirlenirken, Kayseri ve Bilensoy-80 çeşitlerinin verimleri ise sırasıyla 3486.0-937.1 ve 3381.8-941.2 kg/da’dır. Doğu ekotipleri yıllık kuru ot veriminin % 91.3’ünü (945.8 kg/da) ilk iki biçimde verirken, bu oran Kayseri ve Bilensoy-80 çeşitlerinde sırasıyla % 84.2 (788.8 kg/da) ve % 81.5 (766.8 kg/da)’dir. İlk iki biçimde Doğu ekotipleri, kontrollerin ortalamasından % 21.6 (168 kg/da) daha fazla kuru ot vermişlerdir.

The Fresh /Dry Hay Yields and Dry Hay Yield Distributions By Cuttings of The Lines Selected From Eastern Alfalfa in Comparison With cv. Kayseri and Bilensoy-80

 

ABSTRACT: This study was purposed to determine the performance of the progenies of 20 superior mother plants obtained from Eastern Ecotype with polycross test. Kayseri and Bilensoy-80 cultivars of alfalfa were included as the control ones into the study that was established in randomized complete block design with three replications. According to the result of three years, lines/cultivars were very significant (1 %) in the fresh hay yield of the first cutting, in the fresh and dry hay yields of the third cutting, significant (5 %) in the dry hay yield of the first cutting. But they were not significant in the second cutting. The higher fresh and dry hay yields were obtained with 34, 15 and 8 of the lines (44711-12171. 42265-11401 and 41233-11123 kg/ha, respectively) although they were 34860-9371 and 33818-9412 kg/ha for cv. Kayseri and Bilensoy-80, respectively. Eastern ecotype gave the 91.3 % (9458 kg/ha) of annual dry hay production in the first two cuttings while those rates for cv. Kayseri and Bilensoy-80 were 84.2 and 81.5 % (7888 and 7668 kg/ha), respectively. In the first two cuttings, the mean dry hay yield of the lines of Eastern ecotypes was 21.6 % (1680 kg/ha) higher than the average yield of two controls.
