ÖZET
Erzurum Atatürk Üniversitesi, Ziraat Fakültesi Çiftliğindeki elma
agaçlannda tesbit edılen bir phytoseiid akar Wainstein (USSR) tarafından
Amblydromella kazachstanicus olarak teşhis edilmiştir. Altı çift
anterior lateral ve dört çift'te posterior lateral seteae ihtiva eden
Amblydromella genus'undaki bu tür nodosa tür grubu içinde bulunmaktadır.
Haziran ayı içinde elma ağaçlarında görülen bu phytoseiid
akar, agustos ve eylül ayı içinde kesif hale gelmekte ve Vasates sp. 'ninde
predatoru oiduğu tahmin edilmektedir.

A phytoseüd mite which is found
on apple foliage in Erzurum, Atatürk
University, College of Agricultur.e Farm
was identified by Wainstein (USSR)
as Amblydromella kazachstanicus (Fig.,
l-8). As presently recognised Amblydromella
females of the genus are distinguished
by having four pairs of dOJsal
setae, two pairs of median setea, ten
pairs of lateral setae and two pairs of
sublateral stae on the interscultal
membrane, In this genus, the nodosa
specİes g r o u p indudes also
A.kazac.hstanicus. In June, this
phytoseiid mite· has been observed
on apple foliage, while their high
population has been found in August
and September and it seems to be predator
of Vasates sp.
