ERZURUM KOŞULLARINDA YETİŞTİRİLEN KÜTAHYA VİŞNE ÇEŞİDİNDE BAZI BİYOLOJİK ÖZELLİKLERİN VE MEYVE GELİŞİMİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

ÖZET: Bu çalışma, Erzurum koşullarında yetiştirilen ve Prunus mahalep L. üzerine aşılı  Kütahya vişne çeşidinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada, bu çeşidin bazı fenolojik , biyolojik ve meyve kalite özellikleriyle, meyve gelişim periyodunda fiziksel özelliklerdeki değişim incelenmiştir. Erzurum koşullarında, Kütahya vişne çeşidinde çiçeklenmenin mayıs ayı içerisinde meydana geldiği ve tomurcuk kabarmasından petal dökümüne kadar geçen sürenin 25 gün olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çeşitte bir çiçekteki ortalama polen sayısının 17.275, polen çimlenme düzeyinin % 53, polen tüp uzunluğunun 188 mm ve serbest tozlamadaki meyve tutum oranının ise % 25.2 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Diğer taraftan, Kütahya vişne çeşidinde tam çiçeklenmeden hasada kadar geçen süre 68 gün olarak belirlenmiş ve meyve büyüme hızının ise çift sigmoid bir eğri oluşturduğu saptanmıştır. Ağustos ayı başında yapılan hasatta meyve ağırlığının 4.24 g, meyve hacminin 4.52 cm3, meyve çapının 18.3 mm, SÇKM içeriğinin % 10.80, titre edilebilir asit içeriğinin 0.89 g/100 ml, toplam şeker içeriğinin % 9.48 ve indirgen şekerin ise % 9.24 düzeyinde olduğu bulunmuştur.

 

INVESTIGATION ON SOME BIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND FRUIT GROWTH PATTERNS OF SOUR CHERRY ( cv. KÜTAHYA ) GROWN IN ERZURUM CONDITIONS

 

SUMMARY: This study was conducted on Kütahya sour cherry cultivar grafted on Prunus mahalep L. in Erzurum conditions. Some phenological, biological and fruit quality characteristics and physical changes in the fruit during the growth period were examined.The full blooming of Kütahya sour cherry cultivar in May and the time passed from bud swelling to the petal fall was 25 days. The number of pollens per flower was 17.275, the rate of pollen germination was 53 %, the lenght of pollen tube was 188 mm and fruit set at free pollination was 25.2 %. It was also determined that the time passed from the full blooming to harvest was 68 days and the growth of the fruit showed double sigmoid curve. Fruit weight, fruit volume, fruit diameter, TSS content, titrable acidity, total sugar and reduced sugar were 4.24 g, 4.52 cm3, 18.3 mm, 10.80 %, 0.89 g/100 ml, 9.48 % and 9.24 %, at the time of the harvesting in the beginning of August, respectively.
