In this study, genetic structure of caseine (α, β, κ) and beta-lactoglobulin locus of lactating cows reared the research farm of Atatürk Universty were investigated. Two different α-caseine phenotypes determined by two alleles, three different β-caseine and β-lactoglobuline phenotypes determined by two alleles, six different phenotypes κ-caseine determined theree alleles were obtained. Caseine genetic structures of breeds were significantly (P<0.01) diffrent from each other.
Araştırmada Atatürk Üniversitesi Ziraat İşletmesinde yetiştirilen sağmal ineklerin kazein (α, β, κ) ve beta-laktoglobulin gen yerleri bakımından genetik yapıları incelenmiştir. Irklarda α-kazein gen yeri bakımından 2 allel tarafından determine edilen 2 fenotip, β-kazein ve β-laktoglobulin gen yerleri bakımından 2 allel gen tarafından 3 fenotipin, κ-kazein lokusunda 3 allel tarafından belirlenen 6 fenotipin tespiti yapılmıştır. Araştırmada ırkların kazein genetiği bakımından yapıları önemli derecede (P<0.01) farklı bulunmuştur.
