Formation and development of the documentary flow on the history of Western Azerbaijan

Öz

The issue of Western Azerbaijan is of great importance in the study of the history and ethno-cultural heritage of Azerbaijan. The researches conducted in this direction are based on various sources that provide an objective analysis of historical facts. In this article, the formation and development of the documentary flow on Western Azerbaijan is discussed, and valuable sources on Western Azerbaijan in various periods are discussed. Among these sources, primary sources are the main reference points proving the historical facts of Western Azerbaijan and the ethnic cleansing policy of Armenians against Azerbaijanis. After the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1991, the flow of documents on Western Azerbaijan has increased and has become the centre of attention of researchers. In addition to primary sources on West Azerbaijan, secondary sources were also utilised in order to further facilitate the use of document flows in the field. Another important document on West Azerbaijan is the ‘Concept of Return to West Azerbaijan’. This concept includes the restoration of historical justice, guaranteeing the rights of internally displaced persons and protecting their right to return to their native lands. The Concept of Return includes not only legal approaches but also a comprehensive strategy for the protection of cultural and historical heritage. Therefore, the article provides a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the document flow related to Western Azerbaijan.

Qərbi Azərbaycan Tarixinə Dair Sənəd Axınının Təşəkkülü və İnkişafı

Öz

Qərbi Azərbaycan mövzusu Azərbaycan tarixi və etnik-mədəni irsinin öyrənilməsində mühüm əhəmiyyətə malikdir. Bu istiqamətdə aparılan tədqiqatlar tarixi faktların obyektiv şəkildə araşdırılmasını təmin edən müxtəlif mənbələrə əsaslanır. Qərbi Azərbaycana dair sənəd axınının təşəkkülü və inkişafından bəhs edən bu məqalədə müxtəlif dövrlərdə Qərbi Azərbaycana dair dəyərli mənbələrdən bəhs olunmaqdadır. Bu mənbələr içərisində ilkin mənbələr Qərbi Azərbaycanın tarixi reallıqlarını və ermənilərin azərbaycanlılara qarşı həyata keçirdiyi etnik təmizləmə siyasətini sübut edən əsas istinad nöqtələridir. Azərbaycan Respublikası 1991-cı ildə müstəqillik əldə etdikdən sonra Qərbi Azərbaycana dair sənəd axını daha da artmağa və tədqiqatçıların aktual mövzusu olaraq geniş şəkildə tədqiq olunmağa başlanmışdır. Qərbi Azərbaycana dair ilkin mənbələrlə yanaşı, ikinci dərəcəli mənbələrdə yaradılmışdır ki, bu da sahəyə dair sənəd axınından istifadəni daha da asanlaşdırmaq məqsədi daşımışdır. Qərbi Azərbaycana dair digər bir mühüm sənəd isə məhz “Qərbi Azərbaycana Qayıdış Konsepsiyası”-dır. Bu konsepsiya tarixi ədalətin bərpası, məcburi köçkünlərin hüquqlarının təmin edilməsi və onların öz doğma torpaqlarına qayıtmaq hüququnun müdafiəsini ehtiva edir. Qayıdış Konsepsiyası yalnız hüquqi yanaşmaları deyil, həm də mədəni və tarixi irsin qorunması üçün kompleks bir strategiyanı əhatə edir. Beləliklə, məqalədə Qərbi Azərbaycana dair sənəd axını hərtərəfli və dərindən araşdırılaraq qələmə alınmışdır.
