Hər bir xalq öz tarixi, mədəniyyəti və adət-ənənələri ilə bənzərsizdir, təkrarolunmazdır. Rusiyada 250 il, Qafqazda 140 il yaşayan almanların keçdiyi tarixi yol həm bəşəriyyət üçün, həm də region xalqları üçün faciəli və ibrətamiz dərs oldu.Təqdim olunan məqalənin mövzusu istər Azərbaycan, istərsə də Dünya tarixi nöqteyi-nəzərindən əhəmiyyət kəsb edir.Belə ki, Qafqaz alman koloniya¬larının tarixi ümumilikdə və almanların muxtariyyət uğrunda mübarizəsi problemi ayrıca həm Azərbaycan, həm də Qafqaz tarixinin bir hissəsidir və bu problemin tədqiq olunması Qafqaz regionunun, o cümlədən Azərbaycanın Fevral inqilabından sonrakı dövr tarixinin bütöv elmi – obyektiv mənzərəsinin yaranmasına xidmət edə bilər. Təəssüflər olsun ki, bu vaxta qədər Qafqaz alman əhalisinin muxtariyyət uğrunda mübarizəsinin tarixi istər Azərbaycan, istərsə də xarici ölkə tarixşünas¬lığında lazımi səviyyədə araşdırılmamış, nəticədə məsələ ilə bağlı bir sıra vacib nüanslar 1917-1918-ci illər çərçivəsində tədqiqat aparan tarixçilərin nəzərindən kənarda qalmışdır.Məqalədə ilk dəfə olaraq 1917-ci ilin fevralından 1918-ci ilin martınadək dövrdə Qafqaz alman əhalisinin öz milli mədəniyyəti, hüquqları uğrunda apardığı mübarizə geniş arxiv sənədləri əsasında işıqlandırılır, baxılan məsələyə dair yeni-yeni faktlar elmi dövriyyəyə daxil edilir ki, bu da məqalənin elmi yeniliyini təşkil edir.

The Struggle For Autonomy of the Caucasus German Population in the Period After the February Revolution

Every nation is unique and unrepeatable with its history, culture and traditions. The historical path traveled by the Germans, who lived in Russia for 250 years and in the Caucasus for 140 years, was a tragic and practical life experience for both humanity and the peoples of the region. The article is devoted to the struggle for autonomy of the Caucasian German population. The topic of the presented article is important both from the point of view of Azerbaijan and World history. The history of the Caucasian German colonies and the problem of the Germans' struggle for autonomy is a part of the history of both Azerbaijan and the Caucasus. Researching this problem can serve to create a whole scientific-objective picture of the modern history of the Caucasus region and Azerbaijan.Unfortunately, the history of the Caucasian German population's struggle for autonomy has not been properly investigated in the historiography of Azerbaijan or foreign countries. A number of important facts related to this problem have been overlooked by historians. For the first time, the article examines the struggle of the Caucasian German population for their national culture and rights in the period from February 1917 to March 1918 on the basis of extensive archive documents. The author has included new facts about the issue in the scientific circulation, which constitutes the scientific innovation of the article.
