Hemiplejik Hastalarda Gövde Kontrolünün Üst Ekstremite Fonksiyonları, Yaşam Kalitesi ve Depresyona Etkisi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, ilk kez serebrovasküler olay (SVO) sonrası inme geçiren hemiplejik
hastalarda gövde kontrolünün üst ekstremite fonksiyonları, yaşam kalitesi ve depresyon üzerine
etkisinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışmaya İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi (İ.A.Ü) Sağlık Uygulama ve
Araştırma Merkezi’nde tedavi gören SVO tanısı almış, gövde kontrolü zayıf olan ile kuvvetli
olan 35’er gönüllü hasta alındı. Hastaların gövde kontrolünün değerlendirilmesi için modifiye
gövde bozukluk ölçeği (mGBÖ), üst ekstremite fonksiyonları için Fugl – Meyer değerlendirme
ölçeği, yaşam kalitesi için inmeye özgü yaşam kalitesi ölçeği (SS – QOL), depresyon için Beck
depresyon ölçeği (BDÖ) kullanıldı.
Bulgular: Gövde kontrolü zayıf olan hasta grubunda, gövde kontrolü ile üst ekstremite
fonksiyonları (p=0.000), yaşam kalitesi (p=0.001) ve depresyon (p=0.001) arasında anlamlı
ilişki bulundu. Gövde kontrolü kuvvetli olan hasta grubunda da gövde kontrolü ile üst ekstremite
fonksiyonları (p=0.000), yaşam kalitesi (p=0.001) ve depresyon (p=0.002) arasında anlamlı
ilişki saptandı. Her iki grup arasında, hastaların gövde kontrolü ile üst ekstremite fonksiyonları
(p=0.000), yaşam kalitesi (p=0.001) ve depresyon (p=0.002) arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı
fark bulundu.
Sonuçlar: Hemiplejik hastalarda gövde kontrolü zayıf olan hastalarda üst ekstremite
fonksiyonları ve yaşam kalitesinin düşük olduğu ve depresyon seviyelerinin yüksek olduğu
belirlendi.
