Hormon pozitif her2 negatif meme kanserinde neoadjuvan ve adjuvan tedavi seçenekleri

Abstract

Meme kanseri kadınlar arasında en sık görülen kanser olmaya devam etmektedir. Tanı ve tedavideki gelişmelere rağmen hala pek çok hasta ileri evrede tanı almakta ve bu hastalarda tedaviye neoadjuvan kemoterapi (NAK) ile başlanmaktadır. NAK ile amaç bir yandan tümör boyutunu küçültüp aksilladaki metastatik lenf nodu sayısını azaltarak hastayı cerrahiye uygun hale geitrmek, öte yandan da tümörün kemoterapi yanıtını daha erken görmeyi sağlamaktır. Meme kanseri heterojen bir grup olduğu için kemoterapi yanıtı da alt gruplar arasında değişkenlik gösterir. Hormon reseptör pozitif insan epidermal büyüme fakrörü 2 (Her 2) negatif meme kanserleri de bu bağlamda ayrıca değerlendirilmelidir.

Neoadjuvant and Adjuvant Treatment Options in Hormone Positive Her2 Negative Breast Cancer

Abstract

Breast cancer remains the most common cancer among women. Despite advances in diagnosis and treatment, many patients are still diagnosed at an advanced stage and are treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). The aim of NAC is to reduce the size of the tumor and the number of metastatic lymph nodes in the axilla, making the patient suitable for surgery, while providing an earlier response to chemotherapy. Since breast cancer is a heterogeneous group, the response to chemotherapy varies between subgroups. Hormone receptor positive human epidermal growth factor 2 (Her 2) negative breast cancers should also be evaluated in this context.
