Atlas Üniversitesi Tıp ve Sağlık Bilimleri Dergisi (Atlas Journal of Medicine – ATLJM) is the official scientific publication of Atlas University. The journal is published three times a year in February, June and October. Atlas Journal of Medicine is a peer-reviewed, open-access electronic journal operating with the principle of double-blind peer review that aims to contribute to the fund of scientific knowledge in medicine and health by publishing scientifically qualified studies.
It is an open-access scientific journal that publishes peer-reviewed original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, case reports, image presentations, and letters to the editor in the fields of health sciences including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology, and biomedical applications as well as operating room services, health informatics, statistics, health-related computer sciences, and hospital management and operations.
The journal is based on the principles of independent peer review. Only unpublished manuscripts that are not under consideration for publication elsewhere may be submitted to the journal. Authors are responsible for the scientific content of the published material. Atlas Journal of Medicine reserves the right to request any research material on which the article is based.
All studies involving human participants must have approval from an institutional ethics committee and must be conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. For animal studies, compliance with relevant national and international ethical guidelines is required. Informed consent must be obtained from patients for case reports where applicable.
The journal adheres to the principles of publication ethics and follows the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism, duplicate publication, and other forms of research misconduct.
The official languages of our journal are Turkish and English. Our journal is published via the DergiPark platform provided by ULAKBİM.
In the reviewing process, articles submitted for publication in the journal are reviewed and evaluated by at least two independent reviewers after the preliminary review of the editor and relevant field editors. Manuscripts that do not fall within the scope of the journal or do not comply with the author guidelines are not included in the peer-review process.
Authors are required to declare any potential conflicts of interest and sources of financial support related to their manuscripts.
No evaluation or submission fee is charged for the submitted articles.
