Abstract
Just-in-time teaching is a pedagogical approach that requires students to answer questions related to an upcoming class a few hours before, using an online learning management system. Although the term “just-in-time”evokes a casual work or a clear cut concept as it also has the meaning of doing something at the last minute, the JiTT pedagogy is just the opposite. There are two parts in the book. In part one, there is an introduction to JiTT, using JiTT to motivate student learning, JiTT and peer instruction and JiTT in combination with other pedagogical innovations. In part two, there are some sample implementations of the method in the fields of biological sciences, geosciences, physical sciences, economics, history and humanities

Abstract
Tam Zamanında Öğretme / Just-in-time teaching (JiTT), öğrencilerin dersten birkaç saat öncesinde, çevrimiçi öğrenme yönetim sistemlerini kullanarak katılacakları dersle ilgili sorulara cevap vermelerini gerektiren pedagojik bir yaklaşımdır. “Tam zamanında” tabirinin son andalık anlamı da olduğundan, gelişigüzel bir işi veya keskin hatları olan bir kavramı çağrıştırsa da, JiTT pedagojisi bunun tam tersidir. İki bölümden oluşan bu kitabın birinci bölümünde JiTT metoduna giriş yapılmış, öğrencileri öğrenmeye güdülemek için JiTT metodunun kullanımından bahsedilmiş, metodun akran öğrenmesiyle ilişkisi irdelenmiş ve diğer pedagojik yeniliklerle birlikte ele alınmıştır. Kitabın ikinci bölümünde ise JiTT metodunun biyolojik bilimler, yerbilimleri, fizik bilimleri, ekonomi, tarih ve beşeri bilimler gibi farklı disiplinlerde yapılmış uygulamalara yer verilmiştir.
