Married Women’s Perception of Family Systems

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how married women perceive their family systems. Research data was obtained from 21 married women by interview technique. Qualitative content analysis of the obtained data has been conducted in 4 themes (duties, co-operation and supporting; intra-familial interaction; balance, rules and roles; family root and upper system). In general, it is determined that married women internalize traditional Turkish family structure
