Ankara University Journal of Educational Sciences (AU-JFES) is the first academic journal in the field of educational sciences in Türkiye. It is a double peer-reviewed journal indexed in several international indexes and databases. Published under the umbrella of the Ankara University Faculty of Educational Sciences ([https://www.education.ankara.edu.tr/en/mainpage/) and Ankara University Press; AU-JFES has been in uninterrupted publication since 1968.
The journal publishes original, up-to-date, and scientifically rigorous articles that contribute to the fields of educational sciences and teacher education. AU-JFES is published three times a year (April, August, and December) in both print and electronic formats. Each issue features nine original research articles, and may include up to two review articles.
AU-JFES follows a dual-language publication policy: full-text articles are published in both Turkish and English.
As a non-profit, open-access journal, AU-JFES operates in the public interest. It charges no fees to authors at any stage of submission or publication, and all published content is freely accessible to readers.
