  Ankara University Journal of Educational Sciences is a national scientific journal that has been listed in some international indexes in the field of educational sciences. It is the first scientific journal in the field of educational sciences, and it has been regularly published for fifty years. The journal is published three issues, April, August and December, and the articles, which have been issued a decision to publish, are published as Online First.

  Articles in the field of educational sciences and teacher education are published in the journal. Original and current research articles are published in each issue. Besides, two review articles at most are also published in each issue. The articles deemed appropriate in terms of form and spelling rules are subject to plagiarism control. Plagiarism control is conducted through iThenticate packaged software in Ankara University Journal of Faculty of Educational Sciences. Similarity rates of the articles must be less than 10% in iThenticate software (except for journal template, references; and citations from the same source – including own products – should be less than 3%). The official language of the journal is Turkish; English, French and German articles are also published. The journal accepts articles from Ankara University Faculty of Educational Sciences and researchers from home and abroad. The blind review process is maintained for articles that are not rejected in the first evaluation. The article applicants should include ORCID numbers of the authors and they should be written according to the guide for authors. Write the ORCID numbers of the authors and to upload the Minutes of Copyright Cycle to the system using the article writing guide. The authors should also load Copyright Notice Form to the website of the journal.

  The journal is published both electronically (E-ISSN 2458-8342) and in print (ISSN 1301-3718), and everyone from all over the World can benefit from the journal through Open Access.

  Ankara University Journal of Faculty of Educational Sciences is indexed in ULAKBİM TR Dizin, EBSCO Host, ProQuest Political Science Journals, Educational Research Abstracts Online (ERA), European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences (ERIHPLUS), SOBİAD and Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
