DETERMINATION OF RELATIONSHIP AMONG JOB SATISFACTION, ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT AND PARTICIPATION WITH STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODEL

Abstract

In this study, it was aimed to figure out the relationship between job satisfaction, job participation and organizational commitment by using the Structural Equation Model. And also it was aimed to understand whether employee participation had a mediating effect on job satisfaction. To test the model, 18 questions survey and demographic variables were used in this study. Surveys were delivered the Dicle Public Hospital employees except medical doctors and nurses. 452 returned surveys were used for further analyses. There was found positive relationship among job satisfaction, organizational commitment and employee participation. In addition, employee participation was found mediating effect between organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Finally, study results suggested that male employee have more organizational commitment than female employee
