THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE INCENTIVES PROVIDED FOR SMEs TO EXPORT PERFORMANCE OF THE FIRMS: AN APPLICATION IN ANTALYA ORGANIZED INDUSTRIAL ZONE

Abstract

In this study, the contributions of incentives provided to SMEs to the exporting companies have been investigated.Data used in this study have been obtained by means of questionnaire with survey method from the managers of 96 companies in the Organized Industrial Area of Antalya, which are carrying on business in manufacture, trade and service sectors. The questions related to types of incentives, contributions of this incentives to the companies, problems encountered in the use of export incentives and benfit forms of export incentives were included in the questionnaire form. Besides, the questions related to the general features of firms and participants (number of exporting countries, the ratio of export sales to total sales, the ratio ofthe contributions provided incentives export to total exports sales, etc.) were also included in the survey form. According to the results obtained from the study, it has been determined thatthe benefit form of the companies from the export incentives were tax incentives. Moreover, the highest share of contributions provided by the incentives were increase profitability

KOBİLERE SAĞLANAN TEŞVİKLERİN FİRMALARIN İHRACAT PERFORMANSINA KATKISI: ANTALYA ORGANİZE SANAYİ BÖLGESİ’NDE BİR UYGULAMA

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Kobilere sağlanan teşviklerin ihracat yapan firmalara sağlamış olduğu katkılar araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılan veriler, Antalya Organize Sanayi Bölgesinde faaliyet gösteren firma yöneticilerinden anket yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir. Ankette firmaların kullandıklarıihracat destek türleri ile bu desteklerin firmaya sağladığı katkılar, ihracat desteklerinden yararlanma konusunda karşılaştıkları sorunlar, ihracat teşviklerinden faydalanma biçimlerinin yanı sıra firmalara ve katılımcılara yönelik sorulara da (ihracat yapılan ülke sayısı, ihracat satışının toplam satışa oranı, ihracat desteklerinden sağlanan katkının toplam ihracat satışına oranı) yer verilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre; işletmelerin ihracat teşviklerinden faydalanma biçimlerinin daha çok vergi desteğinin olduğu görülmüştür. Kullanılan teşvikler ile sağlanan katkı içerisinde en yüksek payı karlılığın artması almıştır
