Abstract
Bu ^ahjmanin temel amaci, sosyali^mle ilgili olarak Avrupa'da soguk savaj sonrasinda siitduriilen tartijmalari siniflandirmak ve analiz etmektir. Bu amaca ulajmak ifin, ilk bajta, hem 1980'lerde sosyalisderi politikalarini degijtirmeye zorlayan polidk ve tarihsel nedenler, hem de sosyalisderin degijimin gerekUligini gormelerinden sonra tartijtiklan temel kavramlar belirlenecek ve degerlendirilecektir. Ikinci olarak ise, Avrupa'da sosyalist arajtirmacilar arasinda yapilan tartijmalar siniflandirilarak ozetlenecektir. Sovyetler Birliginin temsil ettigi eski sosyalizm gelenegi ile son yirmi yil iginde popiilerlejen yeni sol arasindaki farkliiiklar ve yeni solun temel argumanlari ise sonu? boliimiinde ele alinacaktir.
Abstract
The main aim of this study is to analyse and categorise the discussions in Europe about socialism in post cold war era. In order to achieve this aim, firstly, both the historical and political reasons which forced the socialists to chance their policies in 1980s and the main concepts which the socialists have discussed after seeing the necessities of change are determined and analysed Secondly, the discussions which have been made among the socialist scholars in Europe are categorised and summarised. The differences between the former socialist tradition, which was represented by Soviet Union, and the new left, which have been popular for last 20 years, and the main argument of the new left are discussed in the conclusion.
