Abstract

Bu makale, devlet aklı kavramına devlet adamı figürü üzerinden yeni ve farklı bir perspektif
sunmayı amaçlıyor. Devlet aklı kavramını; sabit, tek boyutlu ve çelişkisiz ele alan yaklaşımlardan farklı
olarak kavramı, içsel gerilimleri ve çelişkileri içinde sorunsallaştırmayı öneriyor. Bu gerilim ve çelişkiler
içinde devlet adamı figürüyle ilişkisine odaklanıyor. Devlet adamı figürünü seçkinci yorumların ötesinde
muğlaklığı ve ahlakiliği üzerinden değerlendiriyor ve devlet aklıyla ilişkisini irdeleyerek her iki kavramın tek
tek ele alındıklarında genellikle gözden kaçan boyutlarını aydınlatmayı hedefliyor.

The Figure of “Statesman” in the Concept of the Reason of State

Abstract

This article aims to provide a different and new perspective for the concept of the reason of state upon the figure of statesman. Unlike the fixed, one-dimensional and consistent approaches dealing with the concept of the reason of state, it advises to problematize internal tensions and contradictions. It focuses on the relationship of the statesman figure in this tension and conflict. It evaluates the figure of statesman beyond the elitist interpretations upon its ambiguity and morality and aims to lighten the often overlooked aspects when taken separately by examining the relationship with the reason of state.
