Abstract

Bu çalışmada Frank Pasquale’ın “New laws of robotics : defending human expertise in the age of AI” başlıklı kitabı incelenmektedir. İnceleme özellikle son yıllarda ivmelenen bir çizgisi olan yapay zekâ ve robotikteki ilerlemelerle yazarın konu hakkındaki eleştiri ve önerileri bağlamında yapılmıştır. Kitabı önemli kılan husus, toplumsal refah ve iş güvenliğinden ziyade maliyetlerin azaltılmasına ve verimliliğe öncelik veren baskın ekonomik modellere ve neo-liberal politikalara yönelik bir eleştiri niteliği taşımasıdır. Yazar çalışmasında emeği salt üretim sürecindeki bir girdi olarak gören, sosyal eşitsizliği artıran hâkim teknolojik determinizme karşı çıkarak insan uzmanlığına değer veren bir ekonomi politik anlayışı savunmaktadır.

In his work, the author advocates for an economic political understanding that values human expertise, opposing the prevailing technological determinism that sees labor merely as an input in the production process and exacerbates social inequality.
