Şizofrenide Aile Faktörü : «Expressed Emotion» ile İlgili Bir Ölçek Denemesi

Abstract

Bugün şizofreni beynin organik bir hastalıgı olarak görülmektedir. Bununla birlikte biyolojik faktörler tek başlarına hastalığın or taya çıkışını ve seyrini açıklamakta yetersiz kalmaktadırlar. Araştırmalar şizofreninin gidişi ile çevresel faktörler arasında bir ilişkinin olduğunu göstermektedir. "Expressed Emotion» çevresel bir stres faktörü olarak özellikle şizofrenlerin aileleri ile yapılan araştırmalar alanında 1958'den bu yana önemli bir kavram olmuştur. Bu çalışmada «Expressed Emotion» düzeyini ölçen pratik bir araç (ölçek) geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır.

Abstract

Today, there is a general consensus that schizophrenia is essentialiy a brain disorder. However biologicaJ factors, alone have been unable to explain its onset, course and outcome. A large body of research literature has suggested a definite rolationship between environmental factors and course of schizophrenia.«Expressed Emotion» as a chronic stress factor, has been an important concept in family researches, particularly with schizophrenics, since 1958. in this study, we intended to develop a practical tool (questionnaire) measuring «Expressed Emotion» level
