Abstract

Cerrahi tedavi uygulanmiyan aorta koarktasyon vakalarinin ancak kiuctik bir kismi 40 yasina kadar gelebildigi halde ve dofumun riskli oldugu bilinmesine ragmen, biz klinigimizde 59 yasinda 9 dogum yapmis bir aort koarktasyon vakasina rastladik. Gerek multipl dogumlarin olmasi, gerekse ileri yas durumunun aort koarktasyonunda cok nadir bir durum olmasi bakimindan tip literaturtine katkisi icin bu vakay1 yayinlamayi uygun gérduk.

iLGING BIR AORTA KOARKTASYON VAKASI

Abstract

he averege age of death of patients surviving childhood with coarctation of aorta without surgery is 40 years old. Pregnancy carries a high mortality and complication rate among women with uncorrected coarctation. We report a 59 year old woman with uncorrected coarctation of aorta who had 9 children and did not have any complication.
