Abstract

As a branch of philosophy, esthetics is a comprehensive discipline. İn this article, esthetics in medicine as one of the differentiated extensions of philosophical esthetics constitutes our basic problem. However, the topics discuss'ed here have been put forvvard in their general outline and certaiııly not exhaustively. Besides, such relevant and basic questions as «Health or beauty?» or «What are the ethical determinants of medical esthetics?» have determined our approach to the topic from the point of view of medical ethics.

Abstract

Estetik, felsefenin bir dalı olarak sınırları geniş bir disiplindir. Bu yazıda ise, onun tıp içindeki farklılaşmış bir uzantısı olan tıpta estetik, temel sorunsalımızı oluşturmaktadır. Burada ele alınan konular, tüketici olmadan, ancak geniş bir yelpazede ve ana çizgileri ile tanıtılmıştır. Ayrıca, Sağlık mı, güzellik mi Tıbbi estetiğin etik belirleyicileri nelerdir? gibi konuyla ilgili temel sorular, tıbbi etik açısından konuya yaklaşımımızı belirlemiştir.
