Abstract

The Distribution of the Angle ANB in Angle Class I and Class Xi Div. 1 Malocclusions In this study, the distribution of the angle ANB has been investigated, in order to find out the relationship between the apical bases in Angle Class Tand Class liDiv.1 malocelusions. The Student Test has been applied in order to determine the range of variation in the angle ANB in both groups. The relationship between the two groups has been found to be insignificant at 5 per cent level; however it has been found to be significant at 20 per cent level. In the light of these findings one can make the statement that Angle Class I and ClassIlDiv.1 malocclusions may be indicativ2 of the skeletal structure to a certain extent.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Angle KlasIveKlaslIDiv.i anomalilerde bazis apikalislerin karşılıklı durumlarını araştırmak amacıyla ANB açısının dağılımı incelenmiştir. Her iki gruptaki ANB açısının degişiminin incelenmesinde t önelm testi uygulanmıştır. Gruplar arasında p-0.05 önemlilik seviyesinde bir önemlilik saptanamayıp, bunun ancak p-0.20 seviyesinde geçerli olduğu görülmüştür. Bu bulguların ışığı altında Angle Klas I ve Klas Tİ Div. i anomalilerin belli bir oran dahilinde iskeletsel yapıyı da karakterize edebileceği anlaşılmıştır.
