Abstract

Attachment’lı protezlerin kullanımı sabit ve hareketli protezlerde mümkündür ve iki gruba ayrılır: Semiprecision ve Precision attachment’ler. Birincisi daha basit olup, ikincisinde ise fabrikasyon yuva ve sürgü kullanılır. Bu çalışmada bir vakada kullanılan attachment tipi, tek parça döküm veneer kron ile oluşturulmuştur. Protezin hazırlanmasında uygulanan tüm aşamalar detaylı biçimde sunulmuş; özellikle kron kesimi, ölçü alma tekniği, modelaj, döküm ve bağlantı yüzeyleri detaylandırılmıştır. Attachment sisteminin estetik, tutuculuk ve fonksiyonel katkıları vurgulanmış; klinikte karşılaşılan anatomik zorluklara çözüm sunduğu belirtilmiştir.

Abstract

Internal attachments can be used in both removable and fixed prostheses and are classified into two categories: semiprecision and precision attachments. The construction of semiprecision attachments is simpler than that of precision ones, which require factory-made male and female parts. In the presented case, a one-piece casting veneer crown was used. The clinical and laboratory steps involved in constructing the prosthesis, including tooth preparation, impression techniques, modeling, casting, and connection mechanisms, are thoroughly described. The advantages of attachment systems in terms of aesthetics, retention, and functional adaptation are emphasized, especially in overcoming anatomical misalignments.
