THROMBO - EMBOLIC COMPLICATIONS IN CASES OF MITRAL VALVE REPLACEMENT

Abstract

Thromboembolism is one of the most important complications seen in mitral valve replacements. Today, the risk of thrombo - embolism in mitral valve replacements is between 2% and 63%. Our Starr- Edwards and Kay L-Shiley used artificial prosthesEs1e1 In our cases, this rate was 16%, although my patients were anticoagulated from the first postoperative day1r. However, in Starr- Edwards model 6120 covers, thrombo embolism is less likely to occur than in Kay -Shiley covers. This complication is closely related to the structure, type of prosthesis used, and the patient's condition.

Abstract

Tromboembolizm mitral kapak replasmanlarında görülen en önemli komplikasyonlardan biridir. Günümüzde mitral kapak replasmanlarında trombo - emboli riski% 2 ile% 63 arasındadır. Starr-Edwards ve Kay L-Shiley'imiz yapay protez kullandı1e1 Olgularımızda bu oran% 16 idi, ancak hastalarım ameliyat sonrası ilk günden itibaren antikoagüle edildi1r. Ancak Starr-Edwards model 6120 kapaklarında trombo embolisinin oluşma olasılığı Kay-Shiley kapaklarına göre daha düşüktür. Bu komplikasyon, kullanılan protezin yapısı, tipi ve hastanın durumu ile yakından ilgilidir.
