Abstract

In the Allergy and Immune Pathology Section of Dept. Microbiology, 107 patients with skin disorder were tested for 8 mold and C. albicans antigens which were prepared in our own laboratory. Tests were carried on intradermally and readings were made 20 minutes, 24 hrs. and 48 hrs. Antigens were injected in two steps. In the first step ten group of mixed-antigens i.e. pollens, hairs, dust, vegetables, protein foods, fruits, molds, non-pollens, bacteria and cereals were injected and observed. In the second step, the ingredients of mixed antigens, positive antigens, in the case of molds, A. niger, A. fumigatus, Alternaria, Penicillium, C. albicans etc. were tested separately.

1- Almost in 50 p.c. of skin disorder cases, who were sent for, allergic skin test were found positive.

2- The same patients gave 60-75% early positive reactions to the other antigens as follows: Bacteria 59.8 p.c., dusts 71.9%, cereals 61.6%, protein food 66.2%, others 65%.

3- Out of 8 mold antigens, Alternaria, Aspergillus fumigatus, Mucor, Penicillium have given immediate reaction preponderence. Only C. albicans and Hormodendrum have shown delayed reaction preponderence. For details please refer tables (1—) in the Turkish Text (p. : ).

Abstract

Mikrobiyoloji Enstitüsü Allerji ve İmmünpatoloji Bölümüne başvuran 107 dermatozlu hastaya 8 küf mantarı ve C. albicans'dan kendimizin hazırladığımız antigenler intradermal zerkedilerek, sonuçlar incelenmiş ve bunlar karma polen, kıl, toz, tahıl, sebze, proteinli besinler, nonpolen antigenleri ve bakteri antigenleri ile mukayese edilmiştir.

1- Allerjik deri hastalarının %50'sinde erken veya geç pozitiflik oranının mevcut olduğu görülmüştür.

2- Ayni hastaların diğer karma allergenlere tepkime oranları ise: hastaların %60-75 arasında erken olumluluk göstermektedir. Bakteri (%59.8), tozlar (%71.9), tahıl (%61.6), proteinli gıdalar (%66.2), diğer cins allergenlere ise (%65) dir.

3- 8 adet küf mantarından Alternaria, Aspergillus fumigatus, Helmintosporium, Mucor, Penicillium sırasında olmak üzere erken tepkime üstünlüğü görülmüştür. Yalnız C. albicans ve Hormodendrium'da geç tepkime üstünlüğü görülmüştür.
Yalnız C. albicans ve Hormodendrium'da geç tepkime üstün çıkmıştır.
