Abstract

Bu yazıda yeni literatür doğrultusunda gebelik ve ilaç kullanımı konusu gözden geçirilmiştir. Gebelik süresince kullanılan ilaçların fetüs ve yeni doğan üzerindeki olası zararlı etkileri değerlendirilmiş, bu ilaçların teratojenik etkileri ve malformasyonlarla olan ilişkileri tartışılmıştır. Yapılan çalışmaların çoğunun hayvan deneylerine dayandığı, insan gebeliklerine genellenmesinde dikkatli olunması gerektiği vurgulanmıştır. Henüz kesin veriler elde edilemediğinden, gebelikte ilaç kullanımında dikkatli olunması gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract

This paper reviews the issue of drug use during pregnancy in light of recent literature. It evaluates the potential harmful effects of medications on the fetus and newborn, discussing teratogenic risks and associations with congenital malformations. Most existing studies are based on animal models, and their applicability to human pregnancy requires caution. As definitive conclusions are yet to be reached, cautious and restrictive medication use during pregnancy is recommended.
