Yeni Koranavirüs Hastalığının Etiyolojisi

Abstract

Yeni Koronovirüs (COVID-19) enfeksiyonu ilk olarak, Aralık 2019’da Çin’in Hubei eyaletinde Wuhan şehrinde ortayaçıkmıştır. Pnömonili hastalardan alınan örneklerde yapılan, virüs izolasyonu PCR ve genom sekans çalışmalarıile etkenin %96 oranında yarasa coronovirus (BatCoV) RaTG13 ve %80 oranında da SARS-CoV’a benzediği ortayakonmuştur. İnsanları enfekte eden ve insandan insana bulaşabilen bu yeni zoonoz betacoronovirüse SARS CoV’e yakınbenzerliğinden dolayı SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome–Coronavirus-2/ SARS-CoV-2) adı verilmiştir.

Etiology of New Coronavirus Disease

Abstract

The new Coronovirus (COVID-19) infection first appeared in Wuhan, China in Hubei province in December 2019.Virus isolation, PCR and genome sequencing studies were carried out with samples from patients with pneumonia.According to these studies, isolated virus was determined to be 96% similar to bat Coronovirus (BatCoV) RaTG13 and80% to SARS-CoV. This new zoonotic betacoronavirus, which infects humans and can be transmitted from person toperson, has been named SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome – Coronavirus-2 / SARS-CoV-2) due to itsclose resemblance to SARS CoV.
