Objective: This study was planned to test the validity and reliability of the Celiac Disease Food Attitudes and Behaviors Scale, determining the eating attitudes and behaviors of patients with celiac in Turkish. Method: This study was conducted with 216 adults diagnosed with celiac disease between December 2022 and February 2023. The scale was re-administered to 106 patients four weeks later to measure test-retest reliability. A questionnaire form included the general information of the patients, the Celiac Disease Quality of Life Scale, and the Celiac Disease Food Attitudes and Behaviors Scale were used to collect the data. Anthropometric measurements of individuals were taken based on the declaration. Statistical analyzes were performed using the SPSS version 26.0 and AMOS 24.0. Results: The Cronbach α value of the scale was 0.842. The mean score of adults' Celiac Disease Food Attitudes and Behaviors Scale was 44.7±14.54. Additionally, a negative low-level statistically significant relationship was found between the period of the disease, the duration of a gluten-free diet, and the Celiac Disease Food Attitudes and Behaviors Scale (p<0.05). Conclusion: It has been determined that the Turkish version of the Celiac Disease Food Attitudes and Behaviors Scale is a valid and reliable tool to evaluate the eating habits and behaviors of adults with celiac.
