This article goes hand in hand with the framework of our didactic project, which aims at innovating the teaching of Arabic in the three cycles primary, junior and secondary through improving the implementation of poetry. We have,therefore,chosen "the illustrated poetical-stories" as a theme which derives from the traditonal Arabic pedagogy of memorizing poetic texts and from the new teaching methods by using the illustrated story
