Information Notice

Dear Researchers,

The Türkoloji Journal, which aims to present scientific research in the field of Turkology to the national and international academic community, continuously seeks to improve its publication policy and scientific quality standards. In this regard, following a decision by the editorial board, several new regulations will come into effect for manuscripts submitted as of March 2026.

Under this regulation, manuscripts directly derived from master’s theses, as well as papers based on presentations delivered at symposia, congresses, or similar scientific events, will no longer be considered for evaluation. This decision has been made to encourage original research articles and to enhance academic quality and the sustainability of publication standards.

From this date onward, submitted manuscripts are expected to be original and independent academic studies that have not previously been presented at any scientific event or directly derived from any thesis work. All submissions will undergo preliminary screening and peer review in accordance with the journal’s publication principles and ethical standards.

We believe that your valuable contributions will enrich the scholarly body of knowledge in the field of Turkology, and we sincerely thank you for your understanding and interest.
