Investigation of Educational Studies on Genetic Concepts with Meta-Analysis

Abstract

Genetik Kavramlar Konusuna İlişkin Eğitim Çalışmalarının Meta Analiz Yöntemi İle İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, 2000 ile 2016 yılları arasında yayımlanmış alan eğitimi bakımından genetik konu başlığı altında yer alan Türkiye’deki çalışmaları derleyerek sistematik bir şekilde incelenmesidir. Bu amaca ulaşmak için ulusal ve uluslararası elektronik veri tabanlarındaki tarama, 'genetik', 'kalıtım', 'kromozom', 'gen' ve 'hücre bölünmesi' anahtar kelimeleri İngilizce karşılıkları da kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Tarama ile konu alanında 64 makaleye ulaşılmış olmasına karşın bu çalışmalardan 16 tanesinin sonuçlarının birleştirilebilir olduğu belirlenmiştir. Meta analiz için seçilen çalışmalar eğitimsel müdahaleler sınıflandırılması yoluyla analiz edilmiştir. Bu sınıflandırmaya göre eğitimsel müdahaleler 'Bilgisayar Destekli Öğretim' , 'Materyal/Model Kullanımı' ve 'Öğrenme Ortamı Tasarımı' başlıkları altında yer almaktadır. Genetik konu ve kavramlarına yönelik Türkiye’de yapılan ve araştırmada belirlenen ölçütlere göre meta analitik analizleri yapılan çalışmalarda Bilgisayar Destekli Öğretim’in akademik başarı üzerinde materyal/model ve bir öğrenme ortamı tasarımına oranla daha etkili olduğu görülmektedir.
