Editor in Chief
His elementary and high school education was completed in Edirne. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Agriculture in 2006. Received a master’s degree from CIHEAM Bari with a specialization in Mediterranean Organic Agriculture and a PhD degree from Ege University. He worked at Dokuz Eylul University Izmir Vocational School during 2009-2010. He is a researcher at Ataturk Horticultural Central Research Institute since 2011. He was a visiting scholar at University of California, Davis in 2017. His research interests focus on sustainability, organic agriculture, olive farming and breeding. His current projects involve comparison of different orchard floor management methods in organic olive farming; characterization, collection and utilization of olive genetic resources and breeding. He is the editor in chief of the scientific journal BAHCE.
