Abstract

EM 9 anacı üzerine aşılı Starking Delicious (SD) ve Golden Delicious (GD) elma (Malus domestica Borkh.) çeşitlerinde 1985 ve 1993 yılları arasında, sıra üzeri 1.5 m, 2.0 m ve 2.5 m olan dikim aralıklarının gelişmeye ve verime etkileri üzerinde çalışılmıştır. İlk 5 yılda hem SD ve hem de GD için dekara düşen kümülatif verim en sık dikim aralığında en fazla olmuştur. SD her yıl düzenli verim vermiş, GD ise 4. yıldan itibaren periyodisite göstermiştir. Her iki çeşitte de, en küçük gövde çapı en sık dikim arlığından elde edilmiştir. 1991 ve 1993 yıllarında olumsuz hava koşulları nedeniyle verim düşük olmuştur. 1 cm² gövde kesit alanına düşen kümülatif verim ve 5 sınıfta yapılan tasnif sonuçları yönünden uygulamalar arasındaki fark önemli bulunmamıştır. Gerek dekara kümülatif verim ve gerekse ekonomik etki bakımından en iyi sonuç her iki çeşitte de 2×3.5 m dikim aralıklarından alınmıştır.

In-Row Spacing Trial with Starking Delicious and Golden Delicious Apple Cvs. On M 9

Abstract

The effects of in-row spacing (1.5 m, 2.0 m and 2.5) on growth and yield of Starking Delicious (SD) and Golden Delicious (GD) apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) Cultivars on M 9 rootstock were studied over a period of 8 years between 1985 and 1993. Cumulative yield per decare was higher at the closest spacing (1.5 m) during the first 5 years for both SD and GD. Annual yield of SD was regular but, GD showed alternate bearing tendency after closest spacing. The yield was lower due you adverse weather conditions in 1991 and 1993. No significant differences were found with regard to yield per unit trunk cross-sectional area and the results of grading in 5 different categories. In-row spacing with 2.0×3.5 m gave the best results for both cultivars with regard to cumulative yield and economical effectiveness.
