ANTİMİKROBİYEL PROTEİNLER VE BAĞIŞIKLIKTAKİ ÖNEMİ

Abstract




Günümüzde antibiyotiklere karşı gelişen direnç yeni antimikrobik etkili kaynakların arayışına yol açmıştır. Bunların arasında üzerinde en fazla araştırma yapılan grup, canlıların doğal bağışıklık sisteminin bir parçası olan antimikrobiyel proteinlerdir. Bu derlemede antimikrobiyel proteinlerin yapıları, etki mekanizmaları ve bağışıklıktaki önemi hakkında bilgi verilmesi amaçlanmaktadır.

ANTIMICROBIAL PROTEINS AND THEIR IMPORTANCE IN IMMUNITY

Abstract




Developing resistance to antibiotics has led to the search for new effective antimicrobial sources nowadays. The most studied group among these sources is antimicrobial proteins, which are a part of the natural immune system. In this review, it was aimed to give information about the structure and effect mechanisms of antimicrobial proteins, and their importance in immunity.
