Chipping technique is a method for use to propagate bulb at high amounts. This method is used to propagate
geophyte species that compose well basal plate such as Leucojum, Galanthus, Fritillaria, Narcissus,
Chionodoxa, Nerine, Scilla, Sternbergia. This study aimed to obtain bulbil from Leucojum aestivum by chipping
technique with application of different size divided bulbs and bulb sizes. As a result, application of dividing into
four pieces of large bulbs (11/12 cm) were found to be effective.
