BATÜ-TDF is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that aims to contribute to the field of tourism at both scholarly and practical levels. By publishing original research articles, review papers, conceptual discussions, and applied case studies across all subfields of tourism, the journal seeks to promote the exchange of knowledge among academics, researchers, and industry professionals.
The primary objective of the journal is to add value to the development of tourism and the understanding of sustainable tourism through research addressing the economic, social, cultural, environmental, and technological dimensions of tourism.
The journal is published biannually, in June and December, and accepts manuscripts in Turkish and English. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process, and compliance with research ethics principles is mandatory. All content published in the journal is freely accessible and downloadable in accordance with its open-access policy.b BATÜ-TDF welcomes research articles, book reviews, and case reports related to the field of tourism.
