Synthesis, characterisation and thermal properties of bis{3-(2-amino-benzylimino)-pentan-2-one oximato}cobalt(III) saccharinate monohydrate complex

Abstract

In this work,
[Co(HL')2](sac)·H2O was obtained from the
reaction of cobalt(II) chloride with 1-(2-ethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-quinazolin-2-yl)-ethanone oxime (HL) within the presence of Na(sac) (sac: saccharinate).
The new complex was
characterized by elemental analysis, spectral methods (UV-Vis., FT-IR, 1H-NMR,
13C-NMR ve LC-MS) and thermal
analysis
(TG-DTA).  The obtained results show that
the ligand undergoes a ring-opening reaction upon formation of the complex and
the chain tautomer acts as  N,N,N-donor.
The sac anion remains outside the coordination sphere as complementary ion in
the cationic complex of the coordination of Co(III) ion and two HL' ligands.

Bis{3-(2-amino-benzilimino)-pentan-2-on oksimato}kobalt(III) sakkarinat monohidrat kompleksinin sentezi, karakterizasyonu ve termal özellikleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Na(sac) (sac: sakkarinat) varlığında
kobalt(II) klorür ile 1-(2-etil-1,2,3,4-tetrahidro-kinazolin-2-il)-etanon oksimin
(HL)
tepkimesinden
[Co(HL')2](sac)·H2O
kompleksi elde edildi.  Bu yeni kompleksin
yapısal aydınlatması elementel analiz, spektroskopik yöntemler (UV-Vis., FT-IR,
1H-NMR, 13C-NMR ve LC-MS) ve teermal analiz yöntemleri
(TG-DTA) ile gerçekleştirildi.  Elde
edilen sonuçlar kompleks oluşumu sırasında ligandın halka açılma tepkimesine
uğradığını ve zincir tautomerinin bir N,N,N-verici olarak davrandığını
göstermektedir.   Co(III) iyonu ile iki HL
' ligandının koordinasyonundan oluşan bu katyonik
komplekste, sac anyonu tamamlayıcı iyon olarak koordinasyon küresinin dışında
yer almaktadır.
