SECOND GRADE HIGH SCROOL STUDENTS' MISCONCEPTIONS OF NEWTON'S SECOND LAWS

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the Jnisconceptions of the students about Afewton's Law 2. The subject of this study consists of total 186 second classes students who are at Erzurum Science High School, Nevzat Karabağ Normal School, Mecidiye Anatolla School and Mehmet AkV Ersoy High School. In this study, case study desigu was identified as a research model. Thi,s research was carried out in the 2005-2006 spring term. The data of the research were obtained from the research test of the conceptions about Newton's Law 2. As a result of the evaluation of the collected data, it's detennined that the students have serious misconceptions about Newton's Law 2.

ORTAÖĞRETİM II. SINIF ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN NEWTON'UN II. HAREKET KANUNU İLE İLGİLİ KAVRAM YANILGILARININ TESPİTİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Newton'un 2. Hareket Kanunu ile ilgili öğrencilerin sahip oldukları kavram yanılgılarını belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Erzurum il merkezinde İbrahim Hakkı Fen Lisesi, Nevzat Karabağ Anadolu Öğretmen Lisesi, Mecidiye Anadolu Lisesi ve Mehmet Akif Ersoy Lisesinde öğrenim gören 186 ortaöğretim 2. sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Durum çalışması yöntemi (case study design) araştırma modeli olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma 2005-2006 öğretim yılı bahar döneminde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri, Newton'un 2. Hareket Kanunu ile ilgili ciddi yanılgılarının olduğu belirlenmiştir.
